Can I change my email address?
Yes, access your Profile Settings when logged in and follow the prompts. Once changed, you will be sent a verification email to the new email address.

Are my credit card details safe?
Rainmaker uses industry-leading payment processor Stripe to process all credit card transactions. This means that Rainmaker never sees or retains or stores your credit card details.
Can I have more than one subscription to Rainmaker?
With Rainmaker you can have your own subscription plus be an authorised user at another law firm. In such a case, you will have a different set of credentials (a separate email address and password) for each of your subscriptions.
Is our data safe?
Rainmaker is committed to securing all our products, services and customer information. We secure your information and database at a top tier web hosting company who control the physical and environmental components of security. We employ the highest industry standards in our development process. Access into the Rainmaker application is handled by two levels of password authentication that you set. It is your responsibility to ensure that your passwords are only made available to the appropriate users within your firm. All administrative, user and key business transactions are logged and recorded to build a historical audit trail that can be analyzed if necessary.

Can I add more users to my subscription?
Certainly. The original Subscriber for your firm can add extra users from the service page within their Rainmaker account.
Is Rainmaker usable on a mobile device?
Rainmaker is designed for larger screen users because of the amount of information that you’ll be entering. In the future, and based on user feedback, we’ll revisit this design decision to make Rainmaker’s user interface more responsive to smaller devices.
Can I protect my login to Rainmaker with 2-Factor Authentication?
Due to the sensitive nature of the data stored within Rainmaker, we have added an extra layer of security through two-factor authentication.
I’ve made a mess of a report, can I start from scratch?
Rainmaker will always provide an automatically generated version of the report. In order to get back to the first unmodified version, you can click the “Discard Changes” button next to the report on the Reports page.
To better manage reports, we recommend saving the unmodified version as a new version report and always working on that. Just click “Save As” rather than “Save”.
Can Rainmaker staff see my confidential client information?
No. Your client info is encrypted with a unique key for each subscriber. Our support staff do not have access to that key nor do they have the ability to decrypt the information.
Because only you and your authorised users can see your client information, if you need assistance with Rainmaker, we won’t be able to answer questions related to client information. We’ll only be able to help with questions related to how to better use Rainmaker.
Can I cancel my subscription?
Yes, if you are the paying subscriber (in other words, if you set up your firm’s access to Rainmaker) you can cancel a subscription as follows: If you are a monthly subscriber, you can cancel a monthly subscription at any time by giving 1 month's notice. If you are an annual subscriber, you cannot cancel your subscription prior to the subscription expiration date. Your authorised users cannot cancel or modify the subscription in any way.
Do you back-up data?
Yes, but only while you have a current subscription. This means that if you intend to cancel your subscription to Rainmaker, you must make copies of all data you have input into Rainmaker. While we adhere to best practice policies and procedures to prevent data loss, including a daily system data back-up regime that includes a secure transfer to a second data center, we will only store data for a limited period of time in accordance with our standard business practices so you should always make copies of the data you have input into Rainmaker.
Can I customize the Rainmaker Report?
The Rainmaker default Report is fully customizable so you can edit it as much or as little as you like to suit your jurisdiction and your client’s specific requirements, except that you should take particular caution while entering the information into the "Client Name" or/and "Trading name/s" when creating the client Report since these terms cannot be altered after they have been entered.. You can also save different versions of the report, such as a summary version and a detailed version.
How long does it take to get started on Rainmaker?
It is realistic that you could receive the Rainmaker training materials in the morning and book a call with a client in the afternoon that will lead to initial income within 30-days and ongoing income over the course of the next 12-months. The intuitive layout makes it easy to set up. There is a comprehensive user manual embedded in the application. We also provide you with a useful guide called “Tips on How to Generate the Most Revenue from Rainmaker”. We cannot stress enough how important it is to read this guide. In it, we share our firsthand experiences in conducting diagnostic interviews with real clients (what works and what doesn’t) to help you extract the greatest value from this innovative diagnostic tool.
